So it is finally here again, The Fall Brawl! Three Days of Skate Contests and a day of Bike mayhem (see EBMX for the info on that)! We have a full schedule this year and everybody should come check it out at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston during the expo. Thursday we have the Analog Game of Skate which is sure to be rad, $250 bucks is going to be handed out to the winner and other prizes. On Friday we have an Eastern Boarder Team Demo, a RAW team demo, a High NOLLIE Contest presented by Spongie and Concepts with $500 in prizes and a Best Trick Contest presented by Orchard! Then finally on Saturday we have a Thunder Best Trick contest at noon and then at 3pm The Fall Brawl with $2500 in prizes! The Fall Brawl is invite only so there is sure to be some shredding from the areas best skateboarders! Be There!

Make it Count.

A little over a week ago the Element team rolled through the shop, hung out for awhile, and signed some stuff. Afterwards they all went into Boston for another signing at Orchard shop as well as a demo, here is the video the Orchard guys filmed during it.
All in all it was a good time, everyone was super nice and the demo had a good turnout so hopefully this will be a motivational factor in getting teams to come around here and do demos more often!


The next day Element's "Make it Count" contest series took place down at the Greenside park in Rhode Island, it was a packed house and a lot of ripping took place. Keep an eye out for a few of our team guys in the video, Nolan Cormier got a few hard tricks down the bank next to the stairs and Matt Lane had some good stuff as well. In the end Kevin Phelps took the whole thing, he skated solid the entire contest and definitely deserved it.

BOSTON'S FALL BRAWL

Fall Brawl has for many years been the premier annual skateboard event in New England. This year Eastern Boarder is proud to have the opportunity to be involved. With help from Vitamin Water, Vans, Waterville Valley, Think Skateboards and many others we hope to help make the contest better than ever!

With a history of bringing the best skaters from around New England and from as far as Canada, we have our work cut out for us. If history has taught us anything you can expect the level of skating to be top notch. With former contestants like Boston's own Doug Moore (winner of the inaugural event), Boston legends, PJ Ladd, Ryan Gallant, Eli Reed as well as others from the area like Manny Santiago, Dave Bachinsky and many other, the skaters will have big shoes to fill and hopefully lucrative shoe contracts in their future.

There will also be events on the days leading up to the contest including Eastern Boarder team demos throughout the day on Thursday. On Friday the EB team will be joined buy RAW Skateboards team riders as well as some of the guys from Orchard Skateshop in Boston and Think Skateboards rider Manny Santiago and friends from the Shape Deuce video. Orchard is also sponsoring a best trick contest on Friday night and right before the main event on Saturday, Spongie at Concepts is putting up some cash for a high ollie contest. FLIP FEAST TOUR

The Flip Feast tour is a wrap. If you didn't make it to the Demo at Rye Airfield you seriously missed out. 3 Thrasher S.O.T.Y. all at one demo! Some of the sickest up and coming Ams, current Trasworld cover boy David Gonzalez, and legend Lance Mountain! While in town the team hung out with the guys from Orchard and went to some famous local spots like the C Bowl and stopped at Doug Moore's ramp Hellgate.
