No Sunday Session this week
This week there will be no Sunday session at the shop.
We will be heading to Haverhill for the demo that the Nashua guys set up.
If you can't make it to Haverhill the Beverly park is now finished and officially open.
You do need a helmet to skate the park.

Todd Currey
One of the original EB Danvers employes, and one of the funniest people I know, stopped by the shop to get suited up for an 80s party. The white jeans and Hosoi Sk8-Hi are a good start. 
Todd should drive this thing to the party since he now runs the show at Lamborghini Boston.
Arts and Crafts
Kevin Smith that works at the North Andover skatepark sent over a video that Chris Latina filmed and edited. The video has full parts from Kevin, Chris, and Max Taylor who used to skate for the shop till he and his family moved to Texas. Max also has some footage in the Subterranean video which has a ton of good Boston area skating in it.

Sunday Sessions
This week instead of pulling out all the boxes we headed over to the new Beverly skatepark which is almost done.
The Beverly skatepark Isn't "open" but so far you can skate what's there without getting kicked out.
The park isn't perfect but it doesn't totally suck. High points are the super smooth ground, really good bench, and barrier style quarters.

Almost Famous
There are lots of movies being filmed in Mass. right now. Earl told me he and Brace saw Mike V. at a Bruins game the other day. He's in town filming something with Adam Sandler and Kevin James. They filmed at the Burlington Mall. I saw some clip of Mike V. acting like a hard-ass (ya dont say) and Kevin James was a security guard. I think it was on the Transworld site. It wasn't funny at all, except for the Segway. Earl said they got a picture with Vallely i don't know how that didn't end up on the Nashua blog.
In other Hollywood news Sandra Bullock and her husband Jesse James have been on the North Shore while she's been filming a movie around Rockport and Gloucester.
This is a picture of Sandra Bullocks bike which was getting a tune-up at the bike shop my friend works at. You'd think Jesse James would have hooked that thing up. While your checking the Nashua Blog for Mike V. pictures please take the time to vote for OBD on their poll. Thanks.
Frog Eggs?
I was mountain biking yesterday and almost fell into this huge puddle/petrie dish.
I'm so glad I didn't because this disgusting sack of goo was in there. I think it was frog eggs. So what else was I supposed to do but poke it with a stick.
This reminds me. You heard it here first - Ocean Frog is gay.
And while we're talking about lame shops anyone skating a Underground deck will not be getting anymore footage in the Sunday videos. Show some Support for real skateshops who are in turn supporting you. If you want cheaper deck we have stacks of Bullet decks for $29.99, Think decks for $39.99 and Shape decks for $44.99.

Live and Learn. Nerd Trivia Answer.
I screwed up my own trivia. One of my clues was not right.
The Answer is:

One clue said the skater didn't skate for the team that put out the video.
That was wrong, I without thinking about it, thought that his part was in the Chocolate Pow promo section of the video.
In my head I always group Rudy with Paulo Diaz and Gabriel Rodriguez. I would feel worse about it if more than one person voted. Matty guessed Tim Gavin and he skated for Girl not Chocolate, so I guess it didn't really matter. None of this really matters, it's just skateboarding not school. But here's a couple cool old parts to watch if you do want some homework.

Sunday Sessions
This past Sunday there was no Sunday Session at the shop. The Nashua guys were supposed to do a skate jam/demo thing in Haverhill and needed the boxes. It ended up raining that day anyways. Later in the day the rain stopped and the ground dried up. On my way home I stopped at the beverly park and ended up seeing Aaron, Banker, Rotondo, Nguyen, and some of the other Sunday Session regulars. I filmed a couple tricks before it got too dark.

Radio Scotvoid
This Friday night my friend Scott aka Radio Scotvoid will be playing at the Gulu-Gulu Cafe' in Salem . This is a video I put together of Scott and Noel playing.They usually play different videos while they play music, often skate videos. The Gula-Gula does serve delicious PBR, but is all ages so if you're looking for something to do stop by and hang out for a while. They should be starting around 9:30.
