Anthem II Video Premiere

This Thursday Dec. 2nd the guys at EB Nashua are hosting the Premiere for the much anticipated Anthem II BMX video. The video will be shown at The Garden in downtown Nashua, where there will be cheap bear thanks to PBR and Fiske! It is 21+ and doors open at 9:00pm.

RIDE FOR JUSTIN UPDATE

Jimmy Day has made his way to Waterloo, Iowa on his solo cross country bicycle trip.

If you're not familiar with the story, our Friend Jimmy is Riding from Boston to L.A. in honor of Justin Brace. Jimmy is doing this to raise awareness and money for ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) research, in Justin's name.

At our Brainfood 2 show last Sunday, we put out a jar for donations and ended up raising about $50.00. We also have temporarily replaced the Danvers Skatepark jar at the shop with a Ride for Justin jar. Every penny helps so if you stop in please help however you can or donate on line by going to rideforjustin.alscommunity.org .

BRAINFOOD 2 THIS SUNDAY

The weather for Sunday looks good enough for me. They're saying it looks good most of the day with a chance of a thunder storm in the evening but they say that every day. We will be setting up around 1:00 and hanging out and grilling all day. We will have some dogs and burgers, if you want anything fancy bring it and you can throw it on the grill. McKinnon's Meat Market is right up the street if you need to grab something last minute.

RIDE FOR JUSTIN

This summer our friend Jimmy Day is going to be riding his bike from Boston to L.A. The trip is in honor of our great friend and Eastern Boarder employee and team rider Justin Brace. Justin is living with advanced ALS. ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease damages neurons in the brain ultimately malnourishing motor muscles leaving them unable to power themselves. Along with not being able to ride his bike, Justin is dependent on medical equipment to communicate and take care of fundamental needs such as transportation and breathing. Despite all of this he continues to be an extremely positive influence to his friends, family and the BMX community in New England. But the constant need of medical assistance that sustain him are difficult to pay for. With each mile of this 3,600 mile trip Jimmy hope to raise a dollar, $3,600 in total.

If you can find it in your heart to donate what you can, every penny will go towards new treatments and finding a cure to help Justin and others who live with ALS. I hope you can join us.
