Our local sales rep for Adidas and Elwood sent over a couple good clips of some tour footage. The Adidas site has also been overhauled and there's some good content so check it out.

SWANK 3 RICHARD "STICKY" STICKNEY WELCOME TO THE TEAM!

With his first full part in Swank 3 now out and after a heaping spoonful of harassment from the rest of the team guys, we are officially welcoming Richard "Stickey" Stickney to the EB Danvers team. Congratulations Sticky!

Worcester

The guys at the Worcester EB set up a little demo/skate jam thing at the W2W (Welcome to Worcester) festival. Kevin, Richard and I drove out there to check it out and enjoy the perfect weather.

We hung out at the demo then checked out the 2 up, 2 down spot and scratched our heads looking at the 15 across the street that Gallant ollied in WHL.

On the way home we saw these sick old cars on the back of a trailer on the highway. Looks like this guy's got a project on his hands.

Dew Tour Demo : Woburn High

Just got back from another EB team demo with the guys from the Dew Tour. This time we went to Woburn High School where we skated for a while and the team from the Dew Tour hooked up some of the kids with shirts and some other gear.

Concrete Carnage Contest Series

Eastern Boarder in conjunction with Scion will be hosting a series of contests which will culminate with a final at Rye Airfield in November. Each Eastern Boarder location will host an event at a skatepark near their shop with the first scheduled for Saturday June 19 at the Fitchburg Skatepark. There will be $500.00 in cash up for grabs at each stop. A win at one of the events will secure you a trip to the finals at the last contest at Rye without having to go threw qualifiers. Acton Park "EB Demo"

On Friday Matt Lane, Dave, Kevin and I drove out to Acton to meet up with Tim from Clayface, Pat, Jon and the Shape crew and a bunch of guys from all the other EB shops to skate, eat hot dogs, listen to local bands and celebrate the parks anniversary. There was a serious crew there incuding Dave Bachinsky, Nick Lamarche, Serge Murphy, BK, Dyllon Horne, Justin Clement, but it was Tom Kruper who "won the demo" with kickflips, a backside 360, and a switch frontside bigspin off of the drop and into the bank. To continue my streak of blowing it I didn't film any of Tom's afore mentioned tricks but did get some good footage. enjoy!

Beverly Game of Skate

Thanks to everyone who came out Sunday to the Game of Skate at the Beverly Park. 42 people ended up throwing $3.00 each into the pot that we then split up to use as prize money. The wind was definitely a factor but was an equal disadvantage to everyone. The 42 got whittled down to a final four Matt Lane, Nick Fuller-Porter, Pat Hickey and John Desimas. The final match up of the day ended up being Pat Hickey Vs. John Desimas after Nick and Matt played for third. In the end it was Pat Hickey at the top of the heap. Pat ended up with $60.00 cash a Real/Focus collabo Deck, a hand cut Eastern Boarder cruiser deck, Mixed Effect and Greater Boston DVDs, some stuff from DVS including a flask and a Scarehouse shirt. John took home $40.00 for second and also got a couple DVDs and some DVS stuff and Nick ended up taking third and got whatever cash was left (about $15.00 and a handful of change) a Greater Boston DVD and some misc. DVS stuff.

After the Game Of Skate we did a best trick jam on the bench and after about a dozen people sessioned the bench for about 20 minutes or so we called it in favor of Geoff Laskey who also got hand cut EB cruiser deck. After we wrapped things up some of us headed up to Rye for Brace Jam.
