GO SKATEBOARDING DAY : ANDOVER

Hope everyone had a good GO SKATEBOARDING DAY. The Paul King Memorial Skate-a-thon at the Andover Skatepark was super fun! 24 hours straight at a skatepark, I wonder if anyone's still standing? All the shops that showed up for the shop contest killed it! The guys from Coliseum showed up with not only there team but all their local homies and ended up taking top honors and took home the huge 1st place sculpture. A drop-in on the roof of the shed and Billy D's giant backside flip from high to low on the pyramid pretty much sealed the deal. Our EB Danvers crew ended up taking second. This is our trophy. I think it's a whale in blackface. I don't know who made this racist prize but don't get mad at us we just won it. The dudes from NOTB took third, one of their guys back lipped the rail.
This is not the guy that won the high ollie contest, but it's the only picture that came out good. I think this guys name is Pat.
I don't know the guy who actually won. Fiske looked better bailing over it than the kid who won, but there's only one way to win a high ollie contest and that's to make it over the bar and the bar was set high.

Big thanks to Mark and everyone at Eastern Boarder! We raised $85,798, which will be used to add a concrete section to the park. You guys helped make this happen by promoting the event, donating product and bringing people to skate in the shop contest. The EB team killed it: good tricks down the handrail, backside heelflip off the kicker and over the tree sign and lots more. Thank you!!!
